ANTHONY MERCER Director and Survey Manager
Anthony has been involved in the Surveying industry for over 25 years. Starting as a Chainman and worked his way up to a Contract Surveyor. After completing a Certificate IV in Surveying, then went on to graduate from USQ with a Diploma in Engineering and Spatial Science Foundations (Surveying).
Anthony is an Associate member of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI).
During his involvement in this industry, has worked on a large variety of projects including road, rail structures, solar farms, pipelines, subdivisions and canal estates. He has been exposed to a variety of equipment including Trimble, Leica, Topcon, Sokia and an assortment of software programs.
Anthony has extensive experience using Trimble survey equipment including machine control. He has completed Trimble Product Certification for GCS900 and SCS900. His main field of interest is machine control guidance for earthworks projects including dams, rail, roads and pipelines. Has experience on several multi-million dollar earthworks projects across Australia. Also undertaken many remote project based roles to further his experience.
Anthony has completed courses for Terramodel and Trimble Business Centre (TBC) and also owns licences for both of these software programs.
